Evening Jacaranda, 1984
Color is like clothing. Whether you like it or not, outdoors, you are wearing the sky. The ambient dome above influences the hue of the shadows; the direct light paints your cheek. Color is an awareness of sorts, with great potential for rewarding the aware. Next time you walk in the dusk, or for that matter, anytime of day, take a close look at the color of the sky and the paint on your partner's cheek. We are all constantly being rendered, and masterpieces abound.
